On May 12, 2008, Charice Pempengco appeared in Oprah and was featured on kids with extraordinary abilities. She blew the audience away with her performance of Whitney Houston’s song “I Have Nothing”
On May 17, 2008, Charice performed with David Foster, Alicia Keys, Jamia Simone Nash, Nick Cannon, John Mayer, Josh Groban, among others.. On May 23, 2008, Charice Pempengco was once again performed in David Foster’s One Night Tribute Concert with Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli, Michael Buble’, and former American Idol finalists Katharine McPhee and Michael Johns, among others.

I first heard Charice on YouTube on the Korean contest. I got “goosebumps”, and I knew she’d become a “sensation”. Also, on the Ellen de Generes show. I believe Ellen was the first to expose Charice to “America”…Ms. Pampengco will do well in America. I heard her personal story and she will overcome her hardship of the past. She was great on the Oprah show and also in Las Vegas!!! You go girl!!!!!
