Tuesday, June 3, 2008 16:23Soulja Boy Tell’Em or known simply Soulja Boy is an American rapper. Soulja Boy was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 28, 1990. Soulja Boy moved from the Windy City down to Atlanta when he was six years old, but then went to live with his father in Batesville, MS. At age 14, he moved to Batesville, Mississippi with his father, who provided a recording studio for him to explore his musical ambitions.
Soulja Boy started post his songs on Youtube for the first time. Shortly, he was discovered by Atlanta producer Mr. Collipark, who helped launch Soulja Boy Tell Em to be a fomous American rapper. In September 2007, Soulja Boy released his first single with “Crank That” hit. The single reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and became a number one hit in United States for seven weeks. He also was nominated fo the 50th Grammy Awards.
