Akon’s First Album is “Trouble” released on June 29, 2004 with single “Locked Up“. “Locked Up” reached the top 10 in the U.S. and the top five in the UK. His second album “Konvicted” single “Smack That” made him was nominated for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards and the winner as Favorite Male R&B/Soul Artis for American Music Awards.In January 2007, Akon released his third single “Don’t Matter” made him his first solo #1 and 2nd consecutive Hot 100 chart topper. Akon the sixth single of the album and last debuted in the end of 2007 “Deluxe Edition of Konvicted” is sold more than one million records in the U.S. and 1.3 million worldwide after six weeks.
